Bubble

Photographed in 2018 while walking down King Street in Charleston, SC during second Sunday. On Second Sundays the City of Charleston closes down King Street, the main commercial area of downtown Charleston, to vehicles and people are able to walk in the street from Calhoun to Queen Streets. Someone was blowing bubble as I passed and I was able to get this image. This image was shot on Kodak Portra 400 film with a Leica M6 camera and 50mm lens. I scanned the negative on a Nikon 9000 film scanner and kept the film borders intact. The film grain is intentionally featured prominently in the larger 30×45″ print.
